Van-Far Ambulance
Full time 48 hr/ shifts each week
EMT- #64115
As an EMT, I worked on the Ambulance and at the base. Responding to all 911 calls for emergencies. I would arrive on scene and determine what the best treatment option in relation to this particular complaint from patient was in order to stabilize for transporting, whether it be a sick call or injury. I would collect patient information, vital signs, treat, and acknowledge how the patient was responding to treatment. Patient would then be put onto the stretcher and transported to hospital, while monitoring en route. Patient report would be called in to receiving facility, and once we arrived and brought patient into a room then report would be given again at bedside. My patients were always given compassion and empathy by myself and my partners. The ambulances and bases were all to be kept clean, stocked and inventoried after and before each shift.
