Key Deliverables:

●Responsible for managing and monitoring a team of Inspectors, NDE Technicians, Supervisors and Foremen advising them on all technical aspects related to various project.

●Key role in preparing, checking and approving site procedures, inspection and test plans along with reviewing quality control procedures, Vendor Installation manuals and Method Statement.

Competencies & Skills

●Ensure compliances with storage, preservation and protection requirements of all static and rotating machinery equipment’s, spares, instruments etc. at site including warehouse. Witness and verify Contractor preservation activities during MC scope. Review of vendor specific preservation procedures and requirements of static and rotating equipment and ensure implementation. Carry out gap analysis, identify supplier weaknesses in preservation plans and propose corrective action. Supervise and guide Contractor’s personnel where necessary. Prepare, maintain and control tools and consumables required for preservation activities. Maintain preservation matrix/catalogue/check sheets/tracking register for all identified items requiring preservation. Review the preservation records and inspect equipment to ensure that preservation maintenance is performed to the approved standards during construction and commissioning phases.

●Initiating over shortage, damage reports if any discrepancy found during material receiving inspection.

●Capable to handle Quality Control requirements and Quality Assurance aspects in construction projects.

●Ensuring that all mechanical construction activities and assembly of components including preservation of equipment are carried out in accordance with client approved project specifications, project procedures, method statements, and relevant codes & standards.

●Attending all witness and hold points’ stages inspection with SAPID, take-out necessary actions for quality improvements.

●Co-ordination with construction team for preservation of equipment such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, drums, reactors, fired heaters, Tanks, Blowers, compressors, pumps, and oil mist pumps.

●Work out put can also perform based on ADNOC Engineering Standards, GASCO Material System Specification.

●Verify quality control documentation in the form of inspection and test plans, method statements and work instructions and ensuring inspection records / test certificates are available prior to work commencing.

●Installation, Alignment & Commissioning of vessels, columns, exchanger / air cooler, reactors, fans, pumps, filter & injection packages for construction of ISOMERIZATION, DCU, CDU & VDU, HYDRO CRACKER UNITS.

●Inspection of padding and elevation of static& rotating equipment through auto level.

●Equipment Nozzle cantering and levelling of static & rotating equipment.

●Installation inspection of static & rotating equipment with reference to P&ID and lay out drawing.

●Installation inspection of fin fan coolers and accessories including tube bundle, plenum, fan leaf’s, pipeline manifold, pig launcher, receiver etc.

●Alignment inspection of fin fan coolers pulley to the motor.

●Pitch angle and tip clearance verification of fin fan coolers and cooling tower fans.

●Familiar with international codes for rotating equipment’s API 686,610,611,614,672,677,674,676,680,685 ETC.

●Familiar with API 650 storage tanks, 620 cryogenic tanks, ASME sec. VIII Div. Sphere tanks.

●Installation, alignment of low- and high-pressure flare stacks including accessories with burner, fuel gas and pilot gas piping connections.

●Inspection of site modification according to procedure if necessary and make it as built drawing.

●Pre installation inspection of overhead cranes.

●Installation inspection of overhead cranes survey level, span verification etc.

●Load test verification inspection for overhead cranes.

●Final inspection and acceptance after the load test and the third-party certification.
