The job is physically demanding and fast-paced, involving constant lifting, bending, and moving. I work independently or with a team to meet performance goals and keep the workflow smooth.

At Portillo’s I worked as a cashier, drive-thru operator, and inside order taker, rotating through multiple positions based on what the team needed. I gained experience in fast-paced high-pressure situations while providing excellent customer service and keeping a positive attitude. Whether I was taking large orders, handling cash and card transactions, or helping clean and organize the space, I made sure the customer always felt taken care of. Working in separate roles taught me how to stay calm under pressure, multitask efficiently, and communicate clearly. I also learned how to read people quickly, keep my energy up, and always represent the brand well even when things got hectic.
