Project / Facilities Manager (April 2021 – Present)

As the Project and Facilities Manager, I lead the full scope of operations and maintenance services across Education City and Qatar University’s student housing assets, ensuring reliability, compliance, and service excellence. Facilities Engineer (October 2002 – May 2007)

As the head of Engineering, I directly supervise the operation and maintenance of the hospital Chiller System (HVAC), Medical Gases, Steam Boilers, Pneumatic Tube System and Fire Safety and Water Treatment (RO) Systems. Oversee a work force of 56 employees.

Designing, installing, and commissioning of ward refurbishment, Trauma Centre and new expansion facilities. These include Oxygen, Compressed Air, Vacuum, A/C systems, Water Supply and Water Treatment systems, Sprinkler and Fire Safety and Steam Installations.

Designed and commissioned two RO water treatment plants (600m3/day & 800m3/day) and a 38m3/day haemodialysis water treatment plant respectively.

Operation and maintenance of Pneumatic Tube Delivery System (PTS) and the Building Management System (BMS).

Initiate and plan on-job training for safety and technical matters to ensure a reserve of trained staff to cater for the present and future needs of the department.
