Develop an RF automation test tool to automatically measure the RF performance of connectivity systems (WiFi, BT, GPS, NFC, Wireless USB and Wireless Power Charging).

Run RF test and characterize the RF performance of connectivity systems (WiFi, BT, GPS, NFC, Wireless USB and Wireless Power Charging).

Analyze test data from automation tools and provide test reports to internal and external teams.

Develop and execute test plans and test cases for connectivity RF systems.

as test/validation engineer worked with group of engineer to resolve the problem with RF effect on BMU (Battery Managements Unit) which it cause the watch turned off with high RF-output to building up test environments with python software to control and do automatization of test set up with VSG (vector signal Generator), VSA (vector signal analyzer), oscilloscope… for this purpose it require skills of:

To develop UWB transceiver. The transmitter blocks were: Power Amplifier with 16 dB dynamic range with P1dB compression of 4dBm, IQ modulator with LO-cancellation, LPF (3rd order Chebyshev gmC filter), Buffer and the band gap reference that deliver sufficient current and voltage to the LNA receiver, Modulator, LPF (5th order gmC filter), PGA (with DC offset cancelation), Buffer. The process was 0.13um UMC at 1.2Volts.gt

To test performance of IC we design PCB.

Accomplishment:

The first transmitter tapeout was successfully meeting measurement spec (measurement result can be present).

Receiver was functional %80 after first tapeout.

WiMAX-project: to design LNA, Mixer and PA in UMC process for validation of UMC’s process in 65nm. After tapeout all three blocks were packaged and measured and measurement result was successful (measurement result can be present).
