Projects:-

1.Global User Registry ;- An interface to use common identifier to tie users and products together, getting closer to things like SSO and Shared Rostering

2.Student Level Access Management: A tool that provides granular control over student access to assessments, specifically for mySAEBRS. This is crucial in states like California, Kansas,Tennessee, Iowa to incorporate parental consent for surveys.

3.Roster PipeLine : FastBridge Roster pipeline is designed to consume shared rosters from Shared Rostering System which the hub for roster data. This does an integration between products with Renaissance eco system .

Responsibilities: -

1.Testing of integrating FAST with other Renaissance products and platforms.

Its a in-house windows based retail tool software for a Retail store . It has item details, invoice generation bill pay and a report based system .

Responsibilities :-

1.Involved in Requirement review meetings with Developers and with the Business to collect information .

2.Analyze business requirements and develop test scenarios corresponding to all functional test cases/ User Stories.

3.Tested for authentication and authorization of users (database stored).

Project: Formative Assessment for Teachers (FAST) Jun 2016 – Nov 2017

FAST is a next-generation of evidence-based classroom assessments—created with and for teachers. FAST offer the only comprehensive assessment system with both Curriculum-Based Measures (CBM) and Computer-Adaptive Tests (CAT) to screen, diagnose, monitor and inform instruction faster—when you need actionable data—so you spend less time testing or guessing and more time teaching. It also offers screening, progress monitoring, and MTSS/RTL support, online scoring, and automated reporting. It is a cloud-based system which is easy to implement with online training and resources, automated rostering and SIS integration, nothing to install or maintain, and multi-platform and device support.

Responsibilities: -

1.Evaluate and test new or modified software programs and s/w development procedures used to verify that system functions according to user requirements use cases and conforms to business guidelines.

2.Review new or modified code changes, including documentation, diagram, and flowcharts, to determine if the system will perform according to user requests and conform to business guidelines.

3.Recommend design improvements, enhancements or corrections to programs.

4.Identify difference between business standards and user applications and suggests modification to conform to standards.

5.Analyze and understand requirements, devise a test strategy to adequately cover the requirement and use cases, develop high level test scenarios that implement the strategy, and elaborate scenarios into detailed test cases.

This is a web-based application to create and manage Pre-sale Health insurance plans. This project also included migrating the existing plan data in EXCEL to SQL server database. There is a rule engine which handles the federal, state and market mandates. The application has a user interface to create individual plans through it or creating multiple plans by copy pasting directly from an excel grid into the UI.

The complete process included Creating/Updating/Deleting plan, running plans through compliance Rules and exporting various reports for downstream consumers and systems.

Project: HIOS Catalog:

Client: United Health Group, Minnesota

Role: Quality Assurance Analyst

HIOS Catalog: This project deals with the affordable care act (ACA) and helps in managing the HIOS (Health Insurance Oversight System) ID’s for unique combination of plan. Only Small Business and Individual plans which are ON or OFF the exchange are assigned a HIOS ID. This system caters to the need of many downstream consumers within the company and also used for reporting to the Government. There is a web service built which provides unique HIOS ID for a set of defined parameters. Also, this system sends lot of batch feeds which is time sensitive. These are a very critical application and have lot of financial implication.

Responsibilities in both projects : -

1.Involved in Requirement review meetings with Developers and with the Business to get more information on each sprint release.

2.Analyze business requirements and develop test scenarios corresponding to all functional test cases

3.Interacted with the Business to clarify ambiguities and verify traceability of test conditions to Test Cases

4.Worked closely with the developers and engineering teams in review and modification of the product and its specifications using Agile-testing methodology.

Project: Invoice Management System Oct 2007 - Aug 2009

Client: Indsoft inc, Minnesota

Role: QA analyst

The Invoice management project is a web based application which gets invoices from different vendors to the system. The system processes those external files and sends data to the database. Some send it as csv file and some as excel spread sheet. The system has excellent search facilities to load the invoices to the web based screen. Users can validate the invoices make corrections and save them to the database again. The UI was built in asp .net and the back end is SQL Server 2008.

Responsibilities: -

1.Understood the business logic, user requirements and test-objectives to develop use case scenarios.

2.Created Traceability between Requirements and Test Cases.

3.Reviewed test conditions for QA and made recommendations.

4.Provided functional testing of the system to assure that changes were correct.

5.Documented defects in defect tracker on issues found while system testing and documented Error Codes generated by different Systems during Testing.

6.Facilitated project meetings including scheduling, recording and distributing minutes, and following up on action items.

Project: HIV Prevention Strategies in Western India Apr 2004-Oct2004

Client: Population Council of India, Govt. of India.

Role: Data Manager / Analys

Worked as a Data Analyst for the project. My role was to analyze data produced from HIV positive patients. Interviewers conduct interviews with different people with HIV virus. This data is fed into the system called EP12. Reports were generated and sent to population council of India. An inbuilt questionnaire in presented to the patients and they either talk or fill that information. The interview provides the documents

Responsibilities: -

1.Analyze the date fed data to the system using EP12.

2.Analysis of data and generating reports.

3.Statistical tool SPSS is used extensively to quickly view data, formulate hypotheses for additional testing, and carry out procedures to clarify relationships between variables, create clusters, identify trends and make predictions.

4.Have to send a weekly report to the population Council of India, Delhi with data from around 50 patients from different hospitals in Pune, India. The tool uses excellent feature to generate reports as per gender, age, problems, locations, habits.
