After a successful career as an entrepreneur, I’ve since retired, but find myself eager to re-engage in the workforce in a more straightforward, hands-on capacity, while I don’t expect to earn what I once did, I do hope to contribute meaningfully in a role that values reliability, maturity, and a strong work ethic.

Purchased a single store in 1994 growing to five locations in three municipalities. Hired individuals training in the area of product sales, customer service and equipment maintenance. Established strong customer relationships through excellent communication and attentive service. The first business in the area to establish auto debit for membership. Business declined in 2008 with market crash, rising fuel cost etc causing clients to choose how their money was best spent. As a result stores were sold individually.

Founded newspaper marketing company with more than 700 clients in 40 states and more than 200 employees. Client base was primarily weekly/bi-weekly publications dependant on documented readership circulation to maintain their legal ads which was their main source of income. Timing was the beginning of the internet when newspapers feared losing readers. The business was very successful until publications determined it was a losing battle.

Was recruited to head a new newspaper start up closer to my home and there I successfully built the needed substantial readership. Unfortunately founders had to close only after nearly a year in business. I stayed on for the closing collecting all outstanding accounts for the owners while planning my next venture.
