ERP Lead
UK international company. one of Europe’s leading fresh vegetables produce companies. I am leading the ERP group that gives support to 350 users in 4 countries and more than 10 different companies. Also, I am in charge to evaluate, allocate resources, analyse, and review the process for new projects and change requests for ERP JDEdwards. Deal with suppliers, SLA, incidents, and steering committees with IT managers and stakeholders. Part of the team that is reviewing all interactions between the ERP and external systems. BI, planning, harvesting, EDI, bank websites, suppliers’ portals, customers portals, RFI guns, mobile connections, etc
Main achievements so far:
-Successfully lead the upgrade to 9.2 JDE version. Big challenge where all IT staff where implicated as we got 2000+ custom objects, we change the architecture and the technology to give support.
-New system to allocate resources to project deliverables, BAU and incidents. Managing not only internal resources but external help too.
-Managing expectations creating a working group to prioritize and resource allocation.
-Leading and mentoring a team of 8 people to standardize processes internally as CAB, Request analysis, deployments, project reviews, etc.
06/17–06/20 Avon Cosmetics Northampton, UK
IT Project Manager.
US multinational the world's largest direct seller and a leading beauty company cosmetic company. I am IT Project Manager, member of Global IT Supply Chain Applications department and part of my time senior business analyst for the Center of Excellence. I was focused on delivering projects in more of 20 different EMEA countries where Avon has subsidiaries with several technologies applied. The main ERP is JDEdwards although I work in projects that involve other technologies like CRM, Forecasting, Warehouse management, e-commerce, mainframes, BI and reports. All projects follow waterfall methodology and were audited internally.
Main achievements:
-New JDEdwards sales distribution process for Morocco. Start using a 3PL and swap all sales, inventory, and receipts process from internal warehouse to 3PL warehouse.
-Successful upgrade of Avon bespoke middleware and servers’ connectors for EMEA involving more than 300 processes for 24 different markets. My role was as a project manager.
-Go live the global tax reduction Avon JD Edwards processes project. Although this project involves more than 20 countries I was only in charge of Spain, Italy and Morocco processes within the holding. The whole project represents to Avon a tax savings between 25-40 million per year.
03/15–06/17 Mary Kay Cosmetics Madrid, Spain
Senior Business Analyst.
US multinational cosmetic company. I was a senior member of the Center of Excellence on the JD Edwards platform that Mary Kay placed in Madrid for all its West European subsidiaries. Focus on the distribution suite, I oversee the roll out of 8 countries following the American business model supervised by Dallas. I worked with bespoke e-commerce solution, Biztalk, BI and reporting.
Main achievements
-The challenge to do the roll out of 3 countries (Germany, Spain and Portugal) in one year with a new team, following the global model. It started successfully.
-Successful project to set up the sizes of the boxes used to deliver to the customers giving a cost savings of 100.000 € per year.
-Modification of warehouse processes and special orders processes reducing picking time in more than 20 hours per month.
Sept14– Mar15 Quistor Al Bergen op Zoom, The Netherlands

Dutch multinational IT consultancy. Within the area of JDEdwards ERP projects, I was in charge of project management of all projects that the firm had in the Spanish territory meanwhile I was working as a Senior Consultant for some of them. Main achievements
-Customer expectations management. 4 projects with the same deadline without enough resources that jeopardize the company and the projects. It devised, drafted and communicated a plan in which resources were focused on starting two, delaying one and stopping another.
-Resource managing and planning during a period of high stress and turnover.
Jun04–Sept14 Soler&Palau Ventilation Group Barcelona, Spain
From Business Analyst to Project Manager
Industrial ventilation Spanish multinational.
Person in charge of the ERP department, along with a 5-people team, we implemented and offered support to 7 companies of the group in Spain, France, and Portugal with more than 500 users and started the roll out project about 3 years of duration and 8 companies to implement with 200 users. Within the operation area, I am co responsible for a group of 9 people who we are in charge of the implementation of the Business Intelligence, the corporative Intranet and modernization of processes B2B between clients and suppliers. Member of the committee of information technologies and communication of Soler & Palau that is the consultative organ of the policy of TI/SI in the entire group. Main achievements
-Restructuring the department (15 people) of information systems. Previously they were program-oriented and switched to profile orientation by performing the entire process internally and subcontracting non-essential parts. So that, the efficiency was increased, and more projects could be carried out per year without losing the support level agreement.
-Change and improvement of more than 10 processes of exchange of information with main customers in Spain and France. Successful manual processes were automated to reduce errors and improve the quality of the department.
-Successful start with the team, of the implementation of the ERP in 8 different companies of the group in 3 countries. Only in one of them did we have a longer than expected transition time (6 months to stabilize) but we started the lessons learned as cultural change and change management for the following projects.
