Instructional Designer

Designed and developed web-based training courses for multiple federal agencies and non-government organizations from storyboard to final product. • Led conversion of ILT project leader training into three short WBT courses for the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) including storyboarding content and creating a decision-based activity conducted through a simulated “Teams” chat with a more experienced project leader who guides learner to the most effective outcome.

• Led update of existing Department of Energy (DOE) Project Management Essentials WBT consisting of 15 modules from Flash to HTML5, thoroughly reviewing all course materials and interactions to meet 508- compliance, as well as the course structure and objectives to ensure learner success.

• Designed a 5-lesson WBT using the CISA Cyber Essentials for Building a Culture of Cyber Readiness for the Department of Homeland Security, focusing on real-world cyber scenarios faced by small businesses across the U.S, where learners apply their knowledge in decision-based activities built around each scenario with good, better, and best outcomes.

• Developed WBT for two courses for the NIH DAIDS Cross-Network on transgender participants and HIV counseling, working with SMEs to sequence and structure material to ensure learning; create engaging activities to facilitate that learning; and ensure that technical information and references were current and correct. ISD reviewer/developer for two additional courses on clinical lab practices and reporting system for DAIDS.
