• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements according to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and other related Legislations.

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Develop and maintain environmental management systems to minimize environmental impact.

• Monitor and report on environmental performance, including waste management and pollution control.

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

• Maintaining ISO Accreditation and ensuring quality standards are always applied.

• Ensuring ISO and related Health and Safety audits are complied with and maintained accordingly.

• Monitor and evaluate quality processes and procedures to ensure adherence to quality standards. Conduct quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with production and quality teams to implement quality improvement initiatives.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to SHEQ activities.

• Prepare and submit reports on SHEQ performance, incidents, and compliance to management.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY OFFICER: NECXON SYSTEMS PTY LTD 2023 – 2024

• Aligning the company’s activities ISO 14001:2015 implementation.

• Ensure relevant environmental laws and regulations are identified, monitored, and complied with.

• Arrange environmental awareness programs and initiatives.

• Establish green/ecofriendly practices. Publish a notice on ecofriendly practices monthly.

• Act as the link between requests to and from SHEQ.

• Ensure document archives and repositories are clearly understood and known by heart.

• Supply OHS documents needed to compile OHS files.

• Ensure all documents found on repositories are valid and have been reviewed in less than a 3-year period.

• Research documentation needed for SHEQ responses if not found in repositories and follow due process to incorporate documents into NEC XON’s repositories.

• Coordinate meetings and related Agendas along with subsequent meeting minutes and action lists.

• Liaise with vendors to ensure they are notified timeously of monthly audits. Page 2

• Maintain and monitor training related to SHEQ, with HR with an up-to-date events calendar.

• Form part of the Health & Safety Committee and advise on pertinent matters affecting OHS within the work environment.

• Working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures.

• Ensure that health and safety policies, plans and procedures are reviewed, updated and implemented.

• Ensure relevant legal appointments are done.
