• Optimized Customer Service Touchpoints: Led cross-sectional collaboration to identify key areas for improvement in the customer service website. Matched customers that were on the website and called into the call center. The analysis identified several website enhancements that reduced customer calls.

• Customer Segmentation: Developed insurance member segmentation incorporating claims, prescriptions, service locations, contact preferences, demographics, and clinical behavior. This segmentation was essential for product development, pricing strategies, risk adjustment, and member retention.

• Integrated data into a data lake: Built a 360-degree member view in the new Hadoop data lake which is a foundation of future modeling and analytics. Developed data governance and cross-functional collaboration to enable consistency and privacy. Data is used in shaping personalization strategies for the Consumer Business across all channels. Built Tableau dashboards to enable self- service analysis and monitoring of member data.

Senior Vice President Quantitative Operations Manager 2004 - 2013 Guided Strategic Analytics and the Consumer Finance Modeling teams, managed stakeholders across multiple departments, prioritized projects and ensured that all stakeholders understood the timelines of their projects. Designed, and developed modeling solutions for Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Risk Management.

• Credit Underwriting Risk Model: Final model identified 20% of charge-offs in the top decile with a K-S +30%, leading to the model being leveraged in the credit decision-making process for all new applications for the Consumer Lending product. The model used reject-inferencing to determine inferred charge-off accounts.

• Developed Marketing Models: Managed a suite of models for the Consumer Finance Portfolio. The models included acquisition marketing, loyalty marketing (cross-sell), acquisition risk, and existing account risk.

• Account Level Profitability Forecasting Model: Devised a new forecast model for card profitability at the account level that was part of the corporate plan used to allocate capital across the enterprise. The model captured dynamic pricing that is part of the credit card portfolio. Project was recognized as cutting-edge by an external consultant who was brought in to benchmark the Modeling department.

• Developed a Data Lake: Acted as key contributor to the Market Analytical Platform which enhanced the speed to market for modeling projects. Project collected 10+ years of card transactions and customer behavior to interpret impacts of the business cycle.

• Call Center Simulation Model: Saved, $5.7M In FTE expenses by creating and deploying a new segmentation approach for Inbound Call Centers. Leadership tested different scenarios and impact on the call center in terms of FTE Expense and average hold time

(AHT).
