Summary:
I have over 35 years of experience in the Aerospace/Defense Manufacturing Industry. I have extensive experience and expertise in Production Management, Quality and Materials Control, and Internal Auditing. I have held various positions over the years, Group Lead, Team Leader I, Sr. Manufacturing Supervisor and Acting Plant Superintendent.
I have extensive experience with high precision and low volume products as well as high volume production outputs. At my first employer we manufactured airplane windows where the quality demand was high. I oversaw the Military cell and part of my responsibility was to supervise the CNC machining of products such as the F-22 Canopy and the F-18 windshield for the US Air Force. I was also responsible for all the final assembly operation.
My overall areas of responsible have for the most part consisted of directing the activities of my subordinates and directing production functions throughout the cells or product lines. Also develop, reviews, and maintains staffing requirements. I was also in charge of all administrative activities for my team such as annual performance evaluations, development, and coaching. Responsible for interviewing and selection of new members. Coordinates all activities of direct members and provides resources to achieve team goals. Ensure members adhere to all safety. work instructions and quality requirement. Implementing cost savings ideas and looking into ways of reducing waste and improving productivity. Maintain a safe work environment. Responsible for managing budget, indirect labor expenses, purchase orders, etc.
