Experience at a glance : Having more than twenty (20) years of rich and vast

experience in materials management at different

types of manufacturing units.I have set up stores in five blade manufacturing units as well as mould &tower

manufacturing unit. Also implementation of SAP-MM

module in all the above mentioned stores. My experience consists of (i) maintaining of raw materials, spare items (ii) dispatch of raw materials & finished goods to different manufacturing units & sites (iii) maintaining of incoming, issuing &outgoing of materials through SAP system, (iv) monthly and quarterly checking of materials in stores (i.e. SAP stock v/s physical stock) (v) facilitating the auditing of stores by external and internal auditors(vi) strictly following the procedures under ISO9001-2008, EHS14001, OHSAS 18001-2007(vii) commercial activities and dispatch of fasteners, spares, raw material and finished goods to different sites/production unit (viii) fulfillment of all CENVAT procedures of manufacturing industry (ix)

maintaining of all excise records and liaison with excise authorities. (x) ABC analysis of all raw materials, spares etc

(xi) inventory control on raw materials, Consumables, spares and project items etc.(xii) procurement of

consumables, spares based on minimum and maximum

stock lying at stores.(xiii) highlighting the non-moving and slow moving items to the management on quarterly

basis.(xiv) Maintaining FIFO system for items which are perishable by nature. (xv) Taking care of scrap disposal at plant and at job workers place as per the management requirement.(xvi)coordinating with stores dept. for control of excess consumption by production and getting the approvals for the same for extra purchases and

subsequent correction in the BOM .(xvii)Highlighting the gate passes in respect of returnable/non-returnable to the plant head and coordinating with various department in respect of material send for repairs and to job workers

(xviii)Implementing systems to avoid situations like over stocking or stock outs which causes production and financial losses.(xix)development of alternative sources for items required for production by reducing the cost of procurement of material. (xx) coordinating with the security personnel’s for inward and outward

vehicles(xxi)Weekly meetings with stores personnel’s in respect of day today activities and maintaining safety, display of sign boards & cleanliness at stores.(xxii) coordinating with logistics departments for transport of outward material to various sites and job

workers(xxiii)ABC classification of vendors on the basis of criteria like cost, quality & timely delivery etc.(xxiv) Liaison with finance department for timely payment of

bills.(xxv)Liaison with production department to maintain optimum inventory.(xxvi)Implementing standard operating procedures for stores and warehouses.(xxvii)Monitoring the store return & damaged goods & transfer out the goods to vendors.(xxviii) ensure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment(xxix)inspect physical condition of warehouse and equipment and

prepare work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement of equipment(xxx)to prepare the daily, weekly & monthly report and analysis the report if there is any gap in the process to take the necessary action to fix the gap.
