Versatile and results-driven full-stack engineer with a unique blend of 15 years in metrology and a proven track record in modern software development. I transitioned from a laboratory environment into the tech industry through a Business/Configuration Analyst role, where I quickly self-taught engineering fundamentals and established myself as a key contributor across both backend and frontend development. Known for taking initiative and owning complex challenges, I’ve delivered robust solutions for enterprise SaaS platforms and customer-facing POS systems. Whether building custom APIs, leading production releases, or modernizing legacy infrastructure, I’m passionate about designing and delivering reliable systems through strong collaboration, thoughtful architecture, and continuous iteration. Outside of professional work, I actively pursue game development and increasingly complex personal projects as both creative expression and technical growth. This passion drives my commitment to lifelong learning and keeps me engaged with emerging technologies, systems design, and innovative problem-solving. Technical Skills

Metrologist/Metrology Technician
US Navy & Tektronics, 2003-2008 & 2009-2019 (respectively) Personal Projects
WellaScan App
Expo/React Native - 2025
- Project inspired by my partners arduous reordering process of collecting dye box tops to manually enter reorder supplies each month. (There had to be a better way!)
- Mobile app built with Expo/React Native to scan EAN barcodes for Wella products.
- Allows users to build reorder lists and push them directly to their Wella shopping cart via API.
- Uses a Tampermonkey browser script to pass QR-based tokens, securely linking desktop sessions to mobile authentication.
SneakySnek
Unity Game Engine / C# - 2025
- A modern clone of the classic Snake game, developed for Web, Android, and iOS platforms.
- Features responsive controls, customizable difficulty, and online high-score tracking via external API.
- Built with Unity's prefab system and state management patterns to ensure clean, reusable architecture.
- Entirely self-developed, including all graphics and animations. HamRunner
Unity Game Engine / C# - 2024
- A custom-built infinite runner game inspired by the Honey Baked Ham mascot.
- Used as a hidden Easter egg within the internal POS/D2C systems at Honey Baked Ham.
- Entirely self-developed, including all graphics and animations. BossFights.IO
React / Node - 2024
- A proof-of-concept app demonstrating integration between ChatGPT, YouTube, and Discord.
- Developed a Discord bot that allowed users to request summaries of video game boss fights. If a summary didn’t exist, the bot would:
1. Scrape YouTube via Google Search,
2. Transcribe video content using a GPT-based speech-to-text pipeline, 3. Summarize the content using the GPT API, and
4. Post results to both Discord and a web-based React SPA.
- Ultimately abandoned due to evolving restrictions on YouTube scraping and bot usage, but the project’s last available state remains live as a showcase of concept design.
