•Canada Address validation - As per the old MT format, Address field is being dropped in the outbound processing if only BIC or Account is present. But as per the new ISO change, For Canada branch, address field is supposed to be sent in outbound, irrespective of any condition.

•Voltage groups PAN encryption error. Voltage is encryption mechanism used within Stratus network. The issue was, whenever a short account number appeared in the queue, the account numbers after that were not getting encrypted. This was fixed by setting the expiration date to a new value and adding a service on functionality.

In this organisation i got an opportunity to work in Airline domain and to work closely with Clients. Being a part of onsite team, i had to deliver the new requirements to offshore team, brain storm about the issue and possible solutions we will be giving the clients and also make sure the projects are delivered on time. Projects:

•BSP-23: The objective is to define the treatments to be performed in the Credit Billing environment. Changes involved are in COBOL, DB2 and JCL. Met all the expectations before deadline and always provided updates on daily basis to onsite/user.

•FTP migration: The main objective of this project is to migrate the server from windows to Linux environment. As part of this, we have migrated 22 applications in COBOL. Flight crew and Labor agreement. Generate multiple reports based on the coupons for crew members and labour's.

Provided daily status updates on the current project we were working on and before time delivery of given tasks.

Projects:

•Payment gateway: The project is about replacing the existing KI server with the new third party server called Aurus. Changes involved are in COBOL, CICS and JCL. Developed testing procedures and documentation and presented to clients for review. Communicated status updates to affected parties when issues arose.

•JCL tuning and optimisation: Delhaize America is one of the USA’s largest food retail companies. Some applications run on mainframe. These jobs needed some tweaking to complete the batch process as early as possible. This is achieved successfully by saving 1 hour of the batch process.

•MAPS (Merchandise accounts payable system): This project was all about receiving various inputs from different merchandising systems, validating the invoices and finally uploading the details to the vendor portal. As part of this, NMG one was brought up. Here all merchandise came under one unit. Some of the changes done as part of this are – Vendor to site number conversion, department number conversion and expansion, table mapping and screen changes.

•Legacy Remediation: The project is about the creation of new interfaces in MAINFRAME for WMS up gradation. Various files from different systems were fed to mainframe. These files were later validated and loaded into the new tables in DB2. As part of this project, we had to code new programs, change few existing programs and monitor the scheduled jobs. Coordinated between onsite and offshore teams. Consistently met deadlines and requirements for all production work orders.
