I home-schooled My boys beginning in Kindergarten. I developed the curriculum and established the schedule. I ordered all supplies and tried to find creative methods of keeping the curriculum interesting and alive. My boys were a year apart so I was implementing two different grade levels concurrently. I experimented with different curriculum's each year and mixed and matched methods to develop the most successful and rewarding program.
