● Accident and Injury Chiropractic: Clinic Director: - Dallas, TX March 2015 to September 2017 Evaluates medical history and the mechanism of the injury. Treats for whiplash, neck pain, knee pain, low back pain, shoulder pain, wrist pain, headaches, and ankle pain caused by car accidents, traumatic falls, and workman's compensation issues. Cares for up to sixty patients within any given day throughout 10 DFW locations. Provides thorough consultations to patients regarding: seeking a personal injury attorney, what their car insurance covers concerning their personal injury protection, and the costs incurred by paying out of pocket. Advises patients about healthy nutritional, sleeping patterns, ergonomics, water intake and home stretches to optimize and expedite their overall healing. Takes X-rays, refers for MRI and communicates with patients the report of findings and the importance of maintaining patient compliance with their treatment schedule, and refers patients as needed to Orthopedic and Pain Management Specialists. Re-evaluates patient progress and assigns appropriate number of weekly appointments throughout the healing process, implements pertinent active rehab, and releases the patient once maximum medical improvement has been achieved. Better Body Chiropractic & Health Center - River Oaks, TX Fall 2014 to 2014 As a Chiropractic Intern: Performed initial chiropractic, traditional and Electro-Acupuncture, and consultations, exams, treatments and follow ups.
