Transportation/Operations Manager
• Manage and oversee Transportation project for all major futures in the USA

• Responsible for opening new accounts with vendors and negotiating rates on Rental equipment
• Maintain relationships with vendors, union leaders, and other studio executives
• Responsible for overseeing the vehicle fleet and equipment

• Managed All Transportation D.O.T and Safety Compliance, Including Audit all Logs, D.O.T Files, MVR’s, Vehicle Equipment,90 day and yearly inspection, and follow all FMCSA rules and regulations, Oversee CHIP Audits, FMCSA Alcohol program, Clearing House and follow all local state and federal laws

• Manage all Projects, including the movement of Cargo deliveries
• Forecast cargo movement strategies and execute labor orders
• Organize and Direct import and export plans with Union Chief, Dock Boss and planner to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Coordinate daily cargo inspections with U.S. Customs and Customs Agents
• Manage flow of containerized cargo from Land deliveries to Vessel and Rail
• Execute daily plans of cargo movement and maintain directly contact with customers like shippers, Carriers, and drivers to decrease delivery turn times.
• Enforce contractual safety regulations, create accident and safety reports
• Responsible for union payroll, Truck delivery reports, Free Flow reports, Monitor EPS-
(Equipment Position Systems) and send out daily end of shift reports.
• Facilitate a daily Operations Conference call with Rails and Vessel departments to plan operations and communicate Equipment needs

• Responsible for day-to-day Operations & Deliveries for TJMAXX, Home Goods and Refrigerated Fruit Accounts like Del Monte Foods while traveling 40% of the time.

• Worked directly with TJMaxx Transportation Managers from Las Vegas and Manteca to ensure new store deliveries and correct and rearrange delivery routes.
