• Manage inventory for 5000+ SKUs for all Foam, Pulp and Plastic cartons. Purchasing also includes 30 SKUs for corrugated boxes.
• Purchase all POs with correct customer pricing while insuring on time arrives. Following up on orders with Vendors to ensure orders are arriving according to their agreed lead time.
• Developed excel spreadsheets to ensure current inventory levels are sufficient based on WOS and updated weekly sales. No ordering ERP system was in place, so I relied on my excellent excel skills to develop intricate spreadsheets to gauge whether POs are needed to be cut or not.
• Develop great Vendor communication with high volume customers such as Walmart, Costco, Safeway, Albertsons, Bashas, Food City and Aldi’s. Also, paid attention to all smaller customer needs and requests.
• Work closely with Sales, and Marketing to insure upcoming advertised products are at correct levels to successfully run for roll out dates.
• Meet weekly with upper management teams to speak/discuss on behalf of all Inventory news, updates and upcoming projects.
• Constantly tracking in bound PO’s and communicate to warehouse when incoming loads are expected order to stage product for delivery.
• Execute cycle counts, making sure FIFO is followed and walking warehouse daily to discovery any issues potentially to arise.
