I am excited to apply at pinnacle. When I took an Information Technology course in college, I learned a concept, Mobile commerce which is buying and selling of goods and services on devices as you can reserve, pay, order books, read. I learned another concept called knowledge management. There are stages of knowledge management starting off with knowledge acquisition which is learning new information by recording your own knowledge with keeping documents, reports, presentations, ideas to get the best results, and other sources. Knowledge storage by databases, content and document management systems, role of management. Knowledge dissemination by websites, Wikipedia, email, messaging, search engines, collaboration tools, a lot of information by training, networks, management experience help managers focus on the important information. Knowledge application is using new business ideas, products, services, markets. Content management systems take documents bringing in more information. Digital asset management system is a software that companies use to place, arrange, search, and display files and handling documents. In Business Process Modeling the documents are useful for the bigger design result using condensed English.
When I did a project in Paper Mill there were a few machines to create a variety of papers. The types of papers will enter the machines. A chart was created for putting the kind of paper, the kind of machine, how long it took to produce the paper. The highest time given for every machine is 30 hours per week and at the lowest 100 units of every kind of paper should be created using the machines. The money made per unit will be displayed as paper type a is 0.25 cents, paper type b is 0.32 cents, paper type c is 0.44 cents, paper type d is 0.50 cents. We came up with a model the number of units for types a, b, c and d to be made to pass the weekly expectations and make the most money.
When I did a project in Information Technology, the Business Process Management is like re-engineering that uses tools, procedures to think, plan, and making use of the process. The Business Process Management is used by business organizations that sells things to make money to handle the business process will be created again. The instructions are to know the procedures for change, understand the current process, create the modern process, perform the modern process, the progress of the products being liked. We went to the bookstore; the customer will search what book they want if available they will buy the book. If they did not find the book, talk to the clerk, the clerk will say to order the book online which will most likely be available. They can return the book whenever they like back to the bookstore. Technology is applied when making the purchase at the bookstore process not requiring much steps by searching the book online, the type of book, if the book is not available search somewhere else. Enter your order then pay taking time to pick up in the center.
When I was working in a supermarket, I saw the item the customer wanted to buy. The type of soap, its price, the item number, how many soap containers was sold, the location where the soap was sold, the profit being made for the number of soap containers being sold. The data from the supermarket can be compiled to make useful information. Data is facts that may be required to compile. Information is when data is compiled, placed in order, may be presented to the public. Data over sales transactions will be recorded on a document called a receipt. A source document is the record of a payment being made. Structured processes support relating to the plan and activities of the place that are accurate, recorded which is not easy to change. Ordering things and purchasing things are an example of structured processes.
