Client: Comerica Bank Database Developer

Designed, developed, managed, and maintained 89 MS Access databases, in compliance with mandated restrictions, for several departments, including HR, Internal Trust, and Personal Trust.

Assisted in migrating 280 MS Access databases from an End-of-Life on prem server to an AWS cloud environment.

Modified linked tables, and VBA code for Forms and Macros, where required.

Performed database testing and modified slow running processes from the cloud drive so they could first be processed locally then migrated back to the cloud when the database closed, thereby increasing the database performance manyfold.

Identified databases and data files remaining on two End-of-Life servers and provided reports for management to review.

Created a database to track migration from End-of-Life servers to an AWS cloud-based environment. Specific locations and difficulties were reported during testing and recorded. This data was provided to the Project Team for research and to improve performance issues.

Updated an out-of-date database used to perform an annual audit of all files on separate network drives in compliance with Comerica’s File Retention Policy. Tested and verified the new database functionality. The database deleted network files seven years or older (with specific folders and file exceptions excluded). Files three to five years old were Zipped and stored and then migrated to SharePoint locations so they could be referenced, as needed.

Designed, developed, managed, and maintained multiple MS Access databases, concurrently in compliance with mandated restrictions for multiple departments including HR, Internal Trust Services, and Personal Trust Services.

Designed an annual Tax Preparation database for the Tax Trust Department which reviewed imported file data, created detailed individual status reports then emailed them to their respective Account Managers and Assistant Account managers. This allowed monitoring of their accounts and what their processing statuses were for the Accounting Company that they were being processed through.
