COMMUNITY HEALTH ASSESSMENT FOR YOLO AND STANISLAUS COUNTIES
· Last year of undergraduate school, as part of my Public Health Research class, I conducted a community health assessment focused on sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and presented the findings to California Department of Public Health (CDPH) officials. The assessment included data on Page 4
demographics, health behaviors, and access to care, with recommendations aimed at addressing STI- related health issues and promoting health equity. The goal of the report was to inform policies and interventions to improve community health outcomes and reduce the burden of STIs. TRUST RESPECT UNDERSTANDING SAFETY AND TRANSPARENCY
· During my employment at the CARE Office, I developed and led the T.R.U.S.T. Training program, a series of four workshops aimed at promoting trust, respect, understanding, safety, and transparency in relationships. I created the curriculum to ease healthy discussions on relationship dynamics, helping participants recognize and assess these dynamics. With the help of my team, we were able to organize and ran the training biannually during Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month (TDVAM) in February and Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) in October.
