Safety Officer Occupational Health

I’m kindly applying for the position of Occupational health and safety officer in your esteemed organisation.It is my greatest aspiration to be working with you in addressing Safety and Health issues that are being faced in your organization. I’m a young man with lots of zeal and energy to be part of your team. I’m a proficient young man with great ache to work with employees to enable them to realize importance of a zero accident occurance at work place. I have been working for World Vision since December 2019 up to December 2024 as a Field Officer. Prior to working for World Vision Zimbabwe I worked for Green Fuel (Pvt) Ltd as as Safety Health and Environmental Officer Intern for 2 years. Through this passé l have succeeded in monitoring compliance of the IS0 9001,14001 and 45001 within cross functional teams. I was also responsible for ensuring effective proactive management of all occupational safety, health and environment risks related to the organization's processes and activities in line with SHE standards, legislative and best practice requirements. Furthermore I have also prapared a safety, health and environmental compliance register for the organisation and ensured adherence to all legal requirements to avoid litigation. I have been able to gain skills in interpersonal communication, teamwork, time management as i was working with different sectors across from World Vision Zimbabwe and Green Fuel Private limited

I am a holder of Honors Degree in Geography and Environmental Studies. I will be of great value to your organization if you deem to employ me as a Occupational health and safety officer through development of data collection tools like kobo and SPSs on different system and reduction of accidents through Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment using risk assessment matrix.
