Flower Classification for "Petals to the Metal" Jun 2025 - Jul 2025 Developed an image classification model using TensorFlow and Keras to classify 104 different types of flowers. Implemented a transfer learning strategy by utilizing the pre-trained VGG16 model and attaching a new classification head. Engineered an efficient data pipeline to load and process image data from TFRecords, specifically for training on a Tensor Processing Unit
(TPU).
Trained the model using a custom learning rate schedule and evaluated its performance with a confusion matrix, F1-score, precision, and recall metrics.
Summer Clothing Sales Prediction on Wish E-commerce Platform Mar 2025 - Jun 2025 Applied data mining techniques to analyze and predict the sales performance of summer clothing on the Wish e-commerce platform. Performed data pre-processing, feature engineering, and implemented both classification (J48, Naive Bayes, Random Forest, SVM, k-NN) and regression (Linear Regression, Decision Tree Regression, SVR) models to predict sales volume and customer ratings. Utilized Filter and Wrapper feature selection methods to identify the most impactful attributes on sales. Evaluated models using metrics such as Precision, Recall, F1-score, Accuracy (for classification), and MAE, RMSE, R (for regression). Mouth and Oral Disease Classification using InceptionResNetV2 May 2024 - Jun 2024 Developed and implemented a Deep Learning model using PyTorch and InceptionResNetV2 to classify 7 types of oral diseases from clinical images.
Applied Transfer Learning on a pre-trained model and utilized data augmentation to expand the dataset to over 5,000 images, preventing overfitting.
Trained the model for 50 epochs, achieving an exceptional accuracy of 99.51% on the test set. Evaluated performance with confusion matrices and ROC/AUC curves, demonstrating the model's near-perfect classification capability with an AUC score of 1.00 for most classes.
