MECHANCAL ENGINEER (OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

-Monitoring, maintenance, serving and repairs on facility SOLAR Gas Turbine CHP ( Centaur50 T6201) and BMS system.

-Supervising the activities at the CNG gas plant from the skid to PRMS be for consumption.

Monitor, record and trend readings from the plant control system and steam generating equipment .

Monitor the Gas Turbine control panels to ensure the proper operation of turbine equipment.

Perform all required plant water chemistry analysis and maintain chemistry control within the plant specified limits. Make adjustments following prescribed procedures and current practices to maintain chemistry control within limits.

Operate the plant in a safe and efficient manner, following all plant procedures, health and safety guidelines, and current operating practices.

Monitor instrumentation readings for variances from prescribed operating standards and procedures. Respond to any variances, adjust and maintain the proper operation of plant equipment.

Maintain the control room log book.

Report conditions beyond the troubleshooting/repair capabilities of shift personnel to management.

Maintain the lock-out/tag-out log and monitor maintenance activities to ensure proper plant operation at all times.

Visually inspect equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair or adjustments. Record any abnormalities in the control room log.

Report and/or correct unsafe conditions or hazards, (leaks, slip hazards, safety deficiencies, etc).

Maintain cleanliness of all the plant office spaces and common areas.

Perform minor maintenance, outage repairs and testing of equipment.

TECHNICAL SERVICE ENGINEER.

Responsibilities

. Perform and control operations of CNG compressors, PRMS, scrubber, Dryer, Caterpillar engines, Heat Exchanger, Valve's, Actuators, Chillers, Dispensers and Hydraulic pump.

. Collect and process natural gas consumption data from PTZ and gas turbine meter.

. Perform maintenance run hours on Compressors, dryer hydraulic pump, valves and Actuators.

. Record, review and compile test results and gauge readings such as temperatures, pressures and flows.

. Collect, analyse and prepare daily report on equipment performance, operation, maintenance activities, power consumption, material movement and plant equipment.

. Inspecting of flow lines and pipe works to detect leakages.

. Determine the causes of abnormal pressure variances and make corrective recommendation.

. Process or Distribute natural gas for utility companies by carrying out skid loading and skid maintenance.

. Collaborate with other operators to solve unit problems.

. Ensure the safety of equipment and personnel on site by adhering to natural gas safety guidelines.

. Support logistics personnel in dispatching of skids to customer station.

. Monitoring of functioning equipment, observe temperature, pressure, level and flow gauges.

. Maintain and repair equipment using hand tools or request that repairs and maintenance work be performed in areas under warranty.

. Perform regular unit checks in order to ensure that all equipment is operating as it should.

. Ensure electrical panels and it's components are in good condition.

. Record, Review and compile test results and gauge readings such as temperatures, pressures and flows.

. Inspect flow lines and pipe works to detect leakages.
