Diagnosis and treatment of many common conditions including sinusitis, upper respiratory infections, pharyngitis, rashes, UTI, etc. Seeing patients from home for urgent care complaints, med refills, travel medicine, etc. Reviewing lab results and calling patients to discuss results. Well Now Urgent Care: Telehealth urgent care. Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in a telehealth urgent care setting. Diagnosis and treatment of many common conditions including sinusitis, upper respiratory infections, pharyngitis, rashes, UTI, etc. Use of telecart to help see patients via telehealth who are physically in the urgent care to help decrease wait times and ease burden from provider on site in urgent care. Saw patients from home for urgent care complaints, med refills, travel medicine, etc. Reviewing lab results and calling patients to discuss results. Dec 2022—April 2024. Position eliminated due to company wide reductions.

Lakeland Regional Health. Primary Care/Walk In Clinic. Diagnose and treat chronic conditions, acute illness and injury, perform clinic testing, and procedures done in a typical walk in clinic/urgent care setting (COVID, flu, mono, and strep testing, etc). Treat patients for exacerbations of chronic conditions and educate them on how to manage their health. Perform primary care including ordering and interpreting lab work, xrays, and health maintenance. Treating patients from ages 2 and older. Also did telehealth visits when needed. Dec 2021-Oct 2022. Left with notice for better work-life balance.

UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME, Provided triage, assessment, nursing care, and CLIA waved diagnostics in student health center walk-in clinic. Treated faculty and staff for workers’ compensation injuries. Provided first aid and emergency medical treatment for event guests. Worked at large-scale COVID testing site on campus doing rapid COVID testing, PCR COVID testing, rapid strep throat swabs, and influenza testing. Jan 2010—present. (I stayed on PRN after our move to Florida and would work medical coverage for sporting events, concerts, etc whenever I was in Indiana visiting family). I am still employed here PRN.

Southeastern University Lakeland, FL: Student Health Services. Provided acute medical care for ill or injured students and monitoring of students with chronic health conditions.

Dec 2019-May 2020. Job ended when the university outsourced health services due to budget issues/COVID.

Bethel College: Director of Health Services, Worked independently in walk-in clinic setting to diagnose and treat a variety of acute illnesses/injuries, as well as manage chronic conditions for both students and faculty/staff. Give immunizations and ensure requirements met. Administer and read TB skin tests and QTF Gold blood tests for tuberculosis. July 2016—Feb 2019. Resigned with notice when our family moved to Florida.
