Position: Senior Test Engineer.

High Power Module Project leader for Pacemaker and Defibrillators including:

High Power Modules and Super Output High power modules

Power modules installed on all pacemaker applications, includes modules tested around 1500V and up to 50A pulsed current. This test includes design of all high power fixtures and ATE programming for testing these power modules.

Develop and implement procedures to insure quality and customer satisfaction.

Continuously work with product development, design, regulatory, quality engineers and product manufacturing to improve quality and yield in accordance with regulatory standards..

Working with electronic design engineers to get a testable design.

Designing the required test criteria based on the design specifications.

Designing the required test fixtures, to be used for device testing.

Programming this test criterion into a complete test program in Cadence Software and C++ language, which contains all the required methods to test the device with full coverage for the device functionality.

Conducting FMEA and Gauge R&R studies, running these test programs on Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) LTX, Teradyne, 3MTS and Eagle test machines.

Use Pascal and C++ programming languages under UNIX, Lab View and View Draw (For circuit design and simulation).

Position: ATE Development Engineer.

My responsibilities in this position include the following:

ATE Customer Support inside Canada this includes, installing, maintaining and calibrating ATE into different factories.

Writing and debugging application test programs (In Circuit and Function Test) on the Z18XX Teradyne and Spectrum machines in order to test analog and Digital circuits including boundary scan.

Fixture generation and preparation to be used with the Teradyne machines using FABMASTER for Fixture Generation.

Jan. ‘95 – Jan. ’98 and Aug ‘98 – Jan 99 (Digitaltest Two locations Germany, CA USA)

Position: Senior Electronics Engineer

My responsibilities in this position include the following:

Managing, monitoring, and evaluating the performance and productivity of the Hardware Dept. Staff, Act as a Team Leader with full responsibility for HW Dept.

Designing new boards for the ATE. This includes designing and integrating new products, I was responsible for designing a complete board for Tel.line simulation for Tel. sets testing, also designing Power Supply to be integrated into the machine, I designed a complete SMP (Switching Mode Power Supply) which is up to 100V programmable, this also includes writing specs for the Software interface in order to communicate with machine Hardware.

Designing and implementing new testing algorithms.

In 1996 in Germany I designed and implemented a new test method for testing digital ICs as In-Circuit Test (ICT) it is called the Vectorless test. This new test method is valid for all of the IC’s families.

Designed and developed a new test method for testing Analog IC’s.

ATE Customer Support this includes, installing, maintaining and calibrating ATE into different factories in Canada, USA and overseas. The ATE machines used are MTS, Schlumberger and GenRad.

Testing and Quality Control of Digitaltest ATE Software. This includes Working with software programmers to verify software and to provide hardware input.

Writing and debugging application test programs and Fixture generation and preparation and on-site TP debugging.

Programming IEEE equipment (DMM, FG...) through GPIB interface.

Preparing and presenting technical product info and solutions to customers inquiries concerning systems software and application. Traveling to various customer locations for presentations and evaluating customer requirements.

Responsible for sales support of DT products and systems, provide on-site applications support for all customers requirements, develop appropriate systems recommendations to meet customer needs including system configurations.
