OTHER EXPERIENCE (INDEPENDENT)

NAKEDMAN DEVELOPMENT, LLC - Pittsburgh, PA

Partner (11/19 – 5/21)

I was a partner in a company that purchased tax foreclosed properties, “recycled” them via an environmentally green approach (i.e. replaced all interior finishes and systems, and restored the exterior incorporating all the original elements with upgraded landscaping) and sold them as “like new” starter homes. Unfortunately, Covid eventually impacted our ability to secure materials or crew within a reasonable time period, causing us to suspend the LLC after three very successful projects.

2021-PRESENT

I took a 3 year “time out.” First, to wait for Covid to be brought under control, then to sell our primary home and our last LLC project in Pittsburgh once the market recovered, find and purchase a home in the Ft. Lauderdale area and move back. This move allowed us to be in proximity to my Partner’s 93 year-old mother who had no local support network, and to transition her into the safety of a near-by nursing home. In between managing these tasks, we have taken time to enjoy some extensive travel to several places we’d always wanted to visit but had lacked the time to do so, to network, and to join organizations and engage local civic and charitable efforts.
