As an HVAC technician I was responsible for maintaining over 3400 homes, ensuring their a/c and heating were in working order or repair them as quickly as possible. I used R-22 and 4-10A gauges, a multi meter, and other small hand tools to complete the service call. If a unit wasn’t working it was my job to trouble shoot the problem and order the necessary part so that I could restore the unit to serviceability as soon as possible. Some parts that I routinely changed out were blower motors, capacitor, inducer motor, electrical components or Freon replacement.

FWB, FL
Maintenance Supervisor
Part of my responsibilities with this company is ordering parts when we are getting low to make sure we have everything needed to complete the job and keep the customer happy. If we had to do any job where a contractor was needed I would contact them and set that up as well. I would also hold daily meetings to go over what was on the day’s agenda so everything was accomplished in a timely manner. I would also go into the homes and repair anything that was broken or in disrepair in order to have the home complete and ready for the next tenant.

North Okaloosa Medical Center
Crestview, FL
Maintenance Technician
While at work I am responsible for completing daily work orders on anything that comes in, to include plumbing leaks, toilet clogs, broken lights, stained-broken ceiling tiles, drywall and any other work that might come in involving maintaining the hospital. I also have preventative maintenance tickets that also need to get done on a monthly basis, along with life safety ones as well. I also have to communicate with all departments when working on or in a room to keep them updated and to maintain patient care. If there are bigger jobs that involve other members of our maintenance team we work together in order to complete the task in a timely manner.

Crestview Aerospace
Crestview, Fl
Maintenance/Machine Technician
While working at Crestview Aerospace as a maintenance technician I’m responsible for many different tasks. Some of those tasks include performing PM work orders on a monthly biases. During the preventative maintenance work orders I have to go through each machine and make sure there are no leaks or safety issues present. There are also work orders that come in which can be broken down machines or anything else facility wide. Some of the things I have to work on are high voltage, low voltage, overhead doors and plumbing. I also have to troubleshoot and replace motors and pumps on a wide variety of machines when we have those issues. When there are bigger jobs that involve other members of the team we all work together to accomplish the task at hand. When there is down time I will go help the facilities maintenance with tasks such as drywall, carpentry, lighting and pressure washing.
