1 Since 5th September 2018 till date, I am currently working as a Woman Medical Officer and Senior Registrar at Punjab Institute of Cardiology Lahore (547 bedded teaching tertiary cardiac center of Punjab, providing 24/7 Emergency and primary angioplasty services to cardiac patients and is recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council Islamabad and College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, Karachi for Training in Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Anesthesia and Radiology). I am doing teaching ward rounds in Emergency, Intensive Care Unit, Indoor and doing duties as a Senior Registrar in Echo, CT angiography, and Outdoor departments. I am also working as a Clinical Coordinator of Emergency ward to coordinate with my senior and junior colleagues, staff and various departments regarding issues related to patients, ward and staff and am also managing the roster of doctors and guiding my juniors in preparing CPCs and Case presentations.

2 From 15th August 2017 to 31st March 2021, I worked as a Medical Officer at Cardiac ICU of Omar Hospital and Cardiac Centre, Jail Road, Lahore (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified, 110 bedded hospital, visited by leading consultants of teaching hospitals for their private patients and has Medical, Surgical, Obs /Gynae, Chest pain emergency, Cath lab, Cardiac surgery, dialysis and Pediatrics departments along with modern and well equipped 16 bedded CCU and 8 bedded cardiac post-operative ICU). I was doing preoperative workup and postoperative management of the cardiac surgery patients admitted at Cardiac ICU till discharge and coordinated with respective Consultant Cardiac Surgeons during management of the cardiac surgery patients. I was also a member of on call “Code Blue Team” to provide my services for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation according to AHA And ESC guidelines.

3 From 21st July 2014 to 20th July 2017, I completed my three years postgraduation training of FCPS Cardiology at Punjab Institute of Cardiology Lahore, Pakistan (547 bedded teaching hospital recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council Islamabad and College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, Karachi for Training in Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Anesthesia and Radiology). During these three training years, I did rotations in various departments as Emergency, CCU, ICU, OPD, Echocardiography, Cath Lab, Nuclear Thallium Scan Dept., Electrophysiology, Cardiac Surgery, Indoor and Exercise tolerance test dept. I presented CPCs and case presentations and also completed and submitted synopsis along with dissertation to CPSP.

4 From 13th July 2013 to 1st July 2014, I worked as a Medical Resident at Al Aziziya Maternity and Children Hospital Jeddah Saudi Arabia (provides health care services for women and all diseases related to women’s health by qualified, specialized and highly professional doctors using the latest equipment and technologies through outpatient clinics, in addition to receiving all emergency cases in the emergency department around the clock). I attended female patients in Medical Emergencies, Indoor and Outdoor, and also worked as a staff physician for hospital staff medical health related issues management and served as a physician at a blood bank.

5 From 15th Nov 2010 to 31st May 2013, I successfully completed two years postgraduate training of FCPS Medicine at Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore (one of the premier medical institutions in the country, 1031 bedded teaching and tertiary care hospital and all departments of this Hospital are recognized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan for FCPS training). During training, I learned and exercised management for all types of cases related to Internal Medicine at Emergencies, Indoors and Outdoors and have done rotations in various sub-specialities of Medicine i.e. Cardiology, Neurology, Pulmonology. I have done workshops on Research and dissertation writing, IT and Computer skills, Communication skills during my training conducted by CPSP, Lahore.

6 From 24th May 2010 to 12th Nov 2010, I worked as a Female Medical Officer at three Basic Health Units i.e. 333/GB, 345/GB, 695/37 GB) under Punjab under Punjab Rural Support Program, District Toba Tek Singh, in Pakistan to provide Primary health care facilities including family planning services, examined and treated the female and children patients, visited schools of locality to deliver lectures on preventive care and provided Re-productive health services to female obstetrics patients.

7 From 1st Jan 2010 to 31st Mar 2010, I served as House Surgeon at Surgical Unit III (60 bedded unit) of Allied Hospital Faisalabad, where I observed and assisted in many operations in Emergency (appendicectomy, herniorrhaphy, amputations, lymph node biopsy, venesection, incision and drainage, chest intubation, suprapubic cystostomy, tracheostomy) and worked for both Indoor and outdoor surgical patients’ management under guidance of my seniors.

8 From 11th Mar 2009 to 31st Dec 2009, I served as a House Physician in Medical Unit III (54 bedded unit) of Allied Hospital Faisalabad, (teaching hospital and tertiary care unit with 1100 beds attached with Punjab Medical college, Faisalabad and is affiliated with University of health sciences Lahore, recognized by General medical council UK, & Medical council of Ireland), where I learned and practiced various common medical procedures including history taking, clinical examination of patients at medical emergencies, indoor and outdoor, interpreted investigations including blood labs, ECG & X-ray as well and CT or ultrasound reports to reach a final diagnosis and management of the patients and performed intravenous cannulation, catheterization, lumbar puncture, thoracocentesis, paracentesis under supervision of seniors.

I presented a case “Post Myocardial infarction Ventricular Septal Rupture” at Pakistan Cardiac Society conference on 27th July 2024 at Gulab Devi Hospital, Lahore.

I have completed a six months course of “Certificate in Health Professions Teachers Training by Health Services Academy” since 2nd August 2024 till January 2025.

I have attended a workshop on Clinical Research Methodology Certificate by Health services academy on 1st November2023.

I also have attended certificate of “Basic transesophageal echocardiography Course” at Army Cardiac Center, Lahore from 21st July 2023 to 23rd July 2023.
