Sergeant/Senior Marshal
Senior Marshal/Sergeant for the department. My daily duties are overseeing the operations of the city marshals office and assisting with warrant service in the field, transporting of prisoners, scheduling prisoner pick-ups and evaluating warrant status. I assigned vehicles and equipment to marshals for their daily patrols and arrests. I also oversee contract security personnel in the municipal court and provided building security. I also investigated citizen complaints, parking issues and other suspicious activities. I also assisted the public with information on the courts and their citations. I also acted as courtroom baliff and provided protection of judges, prosecutors, attorneys and the public as they attend various types of court. I have personally written several of the policies and procedures for these activities in our office.
