SUBJECT: Full-time Dad Seeking Part-time Employment

My name is Ray Crockett. I am a retired railroad

employee. After retiring, I’ve worked as a warehouse

manager and most recently a dump truck driver.

I stopped driving a dump truck when I started being a full-

time dad and most dump truck owners commonly hold the

goal of working their truck ten-hours a day.

I am looking for an employer who is willing to offer me a

part-time position from 9:00 a.m. after dropping my little

ones off at school until 2:00 p.m. to allow me to pick them

up after school.

Being true to myself as well as my family, I enrolled my

children in after-school care at the beginning of this

school year, so I could be employed. So far I have been

unsuccessful in finding part-time employment during my

available hours. If I cannot find employment within this

time frame (9a-2p), I will withdraw them from after-

school care.
