Commanding Officer, Navy Reserve Center Baltimore, MD 07/2022 – 09 /2024

Directed and managed a global team of 1300 personnel, representing 36 offices globally, with a 55- person leadership team; with responsibilities ranging from human resources, medical, legal, and payroll. With a budget of $16M, balanced strategic leadership with hands-on execution, including day- to-day administrative tasks as well as managing budgets, sourcing vendors, and negotiating contracts.

Spearheaded three seven-day festivals with nearly 1M attendees, generating $16M in revenue for the local economy. Coordinated with numerous government, corporate and non-profit organizations to provide safety, security, and facilitation during ship tours, parades, fly-overs, etc. Events generated 3.5 billion social media impressions and assisted the Navy with brand awareness and recruiting.

Leveraged design thinking to create learning experiences for 50 senior leaders in 30 states around leadership development, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution. Directly resulted in 95% retention of 50 leaders, and two selected as the Reserve Center Commanding Officers of the Year.

Managed a global team of 8600 personnel at 37 offices globally, with a budget of $250M supported logistics, comptroller, human resources, medical, legal, and pay functions.
