Key Features of the Project:

Length: Approximately 19 km, making it the longest single- flight conveyor in India.

Capacity: 2,850 t/h.

Terrain: The conveyor system traverses undulating terrain, including a 250 m drop.

Purpose: To transport bauxite from the mines to the alumina refinery in Raigarah, Odisha.

Project Configuration: Composed of two single-flight conveyors: one 14.5 km long and another 3.6 km long. Bauxite Processing: Bauxite is crushed to a size of -150 mm before being conveyed.
