Medical Director/Strategist/Writer/Editor
As a medical director with many years of experience and a history of creating medical communication programs for pharmaceutical products, I look to use my medical expertise and marketing acumen to help account teams realize their client’s goals. I take pride in developing innovative tactics and finding creative solutions that often exceed client expectations, such as:
I create innovative medical marketing concepts that enable pharmaceutical companies to improve communications with their audiences
oOne concept for presenting Pfizer’s oncology pipeline at major oncology congresses brought accolades to the company
I also develop medical communication content and engagement programs for scores of advisory boards, peer-to-peer programs, launch meetings, gap analyses, literature summaries, slide sets, and training materials etc.
oTo address the issue of allergic conjunctivitis at Allergan, I developed the “beach ball” – a graphic that demonstrated how nedocromil inhibited AC through four distinct pathways, compared to competitors that affected only two inflammatory pathways
oFor another project I interviewed 12 Heme/Onc KOLS from around the world and created a series of blogs on the global state of management for people with Hodkins Lymphoma for Takeda
My scientific papers have been cited over 2,500 times and I have co-authored a research paper with Nobel Laureate Dr. Bruce Beutler and three more with Professor of Emergency Medicine at UPenn School of Medicine Dr. Charlie Pollack
I ghostwrote a white paper for EMD Serono titled “Embracing Carers;” which kicked off a collaboration with eight global caregiving organizations to launch Embracing Carers, a public private partnership designed to provide tools for policy change
I am also the co-author of a white paper for Genentech titled “Navigating Cancer Care In the Era of Personalized Medicine - A White Paper and Action Plan of the REV 2014 Forum”
For CME programs, I have written many ‘needs assessments’ for various clients and developed several unbranded disease awareness slide decks for BMS’s immunology division
