Experience working on Boeing 787 Dreamliner -9 and -10 Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, Structural modification on various airframes. Working on 787-9 half joint and 787-10 wing body joint including assembles. Reading and navigating documentation Microsoft Word, Excell and PowerPoint. Well-development customer service skills, Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers. Knowledge of, and the ability to perform, corrosion control utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Work Experience and Employer Boeing:
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, HVAC, and/or electrical discrepancies on various GSE systems and subsystems with a specialized focus on equipment utilized in Boeing Dream lifter Operations.
Inspect, repair, and rebuild/overhaul components such as mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, HVAC, and hydraulic systems ensuring optimal functionality and safety for equipment utilized in Dream lifter Operations.
Disassemble components, meticulously inspect for quality factors, and reassemble OEM specifications with a keen eye for precision and adherence to operational requirements. Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks on ground support equipment, meticulously documenting all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions utilizing computer-based Maintenance Information Systems.
Demonstrate the ability to proficiently operate and maneuver GSE around Dream lifter aircraft safely and effectively. Ensure seamless loading and unloading operations using machinery and labor, while adhering to Boeing's safety protocols and operational standards. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies specific to Dream lifter Operations with a focus on reducing downtime and optimizing equipment performance.
Strictly adhere to common aviation practices of Tool Control, FOD Prevention, Safety, and parts accountability ensuring compliance with Boeing's operational guidelines and safety protocols. Maintain strict adherence to all environmental safety and regulatory commissions, including (but not limited to) Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines. Implement proper safety measures while operating equipment on-site.
Professionally interact and coordinate with internal departments and external customers to facilitate smooth ground support operations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all levels.
Perform routine housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, toolboxes, and company vehicle(s) in alignment with Boeing's cleanliness and safety standards. Actively participate in professional development and training opportunities related to GSE maintenance with a focus on acquiring specialized knowledge and skills. Undertake other assignments as designated by the Station Manager and/or the Lead Technician, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of Dream lifter Operations and the organization.
