Telecommuting Work from home position:
Start Date: 12/2016-08/2017
Title: Senior Resource Coordinator
Duties: I handled incoming as well as outgoing calls, reaching out to seniors and/or their families, to get them in contact with a Senior Advisor counselor that would in turn assist them in finding affordable housing for seniors in the area that they were searching.
My reason for leaving this position was because I was finding myself getting depressed because there were so many seniors that could not afford the senior housing that the program “A Place for Mom would refer them to. I felt powerless and thus decided that this was not the best job for me, and I was also feeling very lonely because I was always at home and not getting out as much as I wanted to.

I did customer service for a telecommunications company, but found that this position was not what I thought it would be, I was told that I would be doing sales, but I was actually answering calls for the troubleshooting service which was more like IT help desk and I took reports for the field techs to go out and fix the customers issues.

AT&T
Started: 07/1994-07/2000
I started working for AT&T as a Bilingual Operator; I assisted the clients with call completion, mostly international to Mexico or South American countries, I also educated the clients on how to direct dial their calls so they would be less expensive for them. I also became a member of the training team where my duties were to train the other operators on new methods and procedures implemented by the company.
In 08/1998 I transferred to Denver, CO and worked as a Senior Operations Clerk where my duties consisted of working alongside the field technicians and reporting any issues with the fiber optic cable and the locating of the cable whenever someone was going to be digging in the area around the fiber optic cable or if there were any train derailments we had to make sure our cable was not cut or exposed.
I left the position in Denver, CO because I could not find affordable housing for family and I so I moved back to Odessa, TX where I originally started working for AT&T.
In April of 1999 I was called back to work for AT&T as a Bilingual Operator again, in San Antonio, TX so I moved my family to San Antonio and continued to work for AT&T until 07/2000 when I was laid off.
CONCLUSION
I have worked in many different fields and I have a lot of Customer Service experience, and I know that I can be an asset to your company and would truly appreciate the opportunity to prove myself. I have had some periods of unemployment and in that time, I was either taking care of my grandchildren or I was going through a medical crisis of my own. I would truly appreciate your consideration for hiring me.
