Work History:
2021–2024 Contractor for The Personnel Department– remote location home based position.
-had been cold calling, marketing, and doing sales pitches to gain market share for TPD.com in the Alberta marketplace building on existing clientele and new business.
-was also doing over the phone and in person interviews, entering personal information adhering to the Privacy Act.
-helping with redoing of resumes if not properly formatted or readable to submit into the Bullhorn portal.
-doing biweekly meetings with VP of Operations for tracking KPI’s and other communications.
-hours of work were part time.
-After the first year with TPD.com was then referred over to one of their clients-Fraserway RV, in which I placed all permanent candidates across the country from east to the west coast of Canada. Placements involved hiring Service Managers, Service Advisors, Service Tech apprentices, RV Technicians, Sales Managers, Sales staff, Administrative, Parts Managers, Parts Advisors, General Managers, etc. The contract ended when Fraserway decided not to use agencies anymore for staffing.
2019-2020 – Contractor for Manpower Service Alberta – working in conjunction with Alberta Health Services– Remote home-based position.
-was a Team Lead directing eight other recruiters by placing Comfort Care Aides in long term care facilities/hospitals in city/ rural areas in Northern Alberta.
-giving guidance to the team and being initiative-taking in processing applications from applicants in a tracking sheet with all personal information.
-dealing with 30-50 calls per day with applicants/team members and their questions.
-computer skills on average are excellent and I type 70-80 wp and well versed in computer applications.

-sourcing of all candidates for retail, food services, business to business, government, industrial, aircraft, food and beverage, land development, oil, and gas – services and supplies, construction, plumbing and heating, telecommunications, financial services, pharmaceutical, hospitality, medical and everything in between.

-redoing resumes and making new resumes for candidates who did not have one and for information to a client.

-80% of my job was cold calling and recruiting for all the stores in Western Canada.
- interviewing potential candidates for District Managers, Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers, District Loss Prevention Supervisors, Department Managers, Pharmacists and Opticians from start to finish (making job descriptions, interviews from start to finish with all management involved, checking references, making job offers).
-compiling of monthly regional stats for Corporate Head office.
