CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION: Performs a full range of procurement duties involving assisting with solicitations, negotiations, terminations, close outs, and post award administration of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)/Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) (now the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA)) Personal Service Contracts. COMPLIANCE: Ensuring contracts, memorandums, and letters are compliant with Federal laws, the FAR and Agency (AIDAR and ADS) regulations/standards.

PLANNING: Create milestone plans in PRISM/GLAAS, monitoring upcoming PSC actions and deadlines, and liaise with the contracting office in the Office of Acquisition and Assistance (OAA) staff to seek guidance and contribute to resolving contractual issues and obtaining necessary documentation for contract actions that deviate from normal circumstances.

Provided outstanding customer service to the Deputy Manager (DM) by conducting PSC orientation in their absence; picking up the DM’s actions to allow them to concentrate on pressing actions; and training/mentoring new and junior staff. Backstopped for the Deputy Manager as needed.

Participated on the “backlog team” that addressed face-paced contractual actions for a month while completing all day-to-day assignments.
