Position created at the Corporate Office to utilize my skills and abilities. The job responsibility was to find commonalities within the six manufacturing plants to improve visibility with like materials and services. Once that was determined, create a process and supply agreement to reduce costs.

• Negotiated a long-term contract with a new bulk gas supplier to supply all the plants. Created a new a agreement and verified the document with legal counsel. Year 1 cost savings $275,000, year 2-5 $110,000 each month savings for the Corporation or $1,320,000 per year.

• Consolidated several VMI suppliers at each plant to one for the corporate structure.

• Negotiated a 3-year corporate agreement for that supplier to monitor and fulfill each plant needs and requirements through vending or vendor managed materials. Caved the corporation $250,000 year 1 and

$550,000 year 2 and 3. That was distributed to each plant.
