WORK HISTORY

Civil Engineer (Construction/Operation and Maintenance of SGW), 04/2020 – Current: Metito Overseas Qatar – DOHA, Qatar.

Below is my ability in Construction Management activities:

Conduct regular maintenance of SGW network gullies, pipelines, soak-aways, lagoons, tanks.

Ensure the integrity and functionality of the entire SGW network.

Perform inspections on SGW network assets to assess their condition.

Oversee the operation and functionality of penstocks within the network.

Lead the process of handing over inspections for various SGW network projects. Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

Ensure all the required permits are available at site like RO, PTW and Excavation permit, TDP, Dewatering permit, SIS from transmission and distribution department of kahramaa, Confined space permit etc.

Verify the constructed SGW network against provided shop drawings.

Control and coordinate workforce at the project site.

Actively tracked workforce deployment, material requisitions and site progress through daily field visits.

Prepare and send weekly and monthly progress reports.

Monitor and track the Equipment Asset Management System (EAMS) closing.

To ensure that we must apply for a LOA Permit in case a pipeline is crossing from HV, EHV Cables and working at kahramaa substation.

Ensure the work must be done as per standard drawings / Approved drawings. Coordinating with Ashghal Inspectors/ Engineers for a joint site inspection and site visit.

To ensure the pipe must be laid with the required slope.

Ensure residents have access to their property. Ensure prior to start trail pit excavation we must refer underground utilities as built drawings, and the area should be scanned by cable detector & mark the utilities on site.

Ensure all utility holes GRP Lining and lamination, waterproofing and epoxy should be done as per required thickness & number of coats.

Construction of foundations for solar PLC panels, Generator, and Excavation for the electrical cable lines to control the flood prevention work.

Submitting test report for the Concrete strength test, FDT test, Asphalt tests, DI Cover and frame, Pipe laid Air test.

To ensure all inspection requests are raised and approved for the completed activities and follow up for the job closing in the system.

Ensured works follow drawings/specification and materials are compliant before use, and testing follows standards.

Demolition of damaged concrete and replacement of damaged steel, applying bonding agent as per the requirement/ specification of the job.

Monitor pouring of concrete, slump test and temperature at site and the time from batching of concrete up to disposal and take samples for laboratory testing.

Provide technical support to supervisor and other personnel.

Ensuring that health and safety measures are adopted and followed to the full extent.

Making a report and sending for demanding of manpower's to increase or decrease, according to the schedule of work and trade.

Ensure that all necessary notifications have been sent and approvals prior to commencement of any construction works.
