Led a Business Process Procurement Outsourcing project for a major social media company (META). It was a remarkably interesting position as they are currently setting themselves up to go to a mandated procurement environment in Q3 and therefore need help in how to “get” there.
●Led a team supporting a global team of 68 marketing category supply chain managers.
●Developed a COE (Center or Excellence) to provide support to the category managers to process the tactical work of the RFP processes, PO execution thus enabling the category managers to become more strategic.

Led 28 team members through the procurement lifecycle. For this startup, developed and executed end to end procurement including strategies, systems, RFx processes, contracting, negotiations, and sourcing. Managed projects, risk, continuous improvement, and ROI efforts. Oversaw the rollout of Business Process Outsourcing for Human Resources and Legal. Creatively found ways to limit expenditures. Planned and scheduled golf programs, ambassador relations, and activation, including photoshoots, meet and greets, and branding.

Managed a team of eight people, coaching, mentoring, and evaluating their performance. Governed a $360M budget. Revised processes and drove projects to reduce risk and redundancy, increase efficiency, and reduce expenses. Developed and implemented a procurement strategy, conducted contract negotiations, and handled the RFx process for all Indirect Procurement including Marketing, Professional Services and HR.
●Implemented SAP's software, processes, and procedures, driving efficiencies and visibility into sourcing activities. This also reduced risk while creating better contract management, PO execution and reporting.
●Supported & monitored the effective delivery of end-to-end service within the region's or BPO's team of buyers. Ensured the proper execution of the P2P process: from requisition handling to PO placement and confirmation (PO expediting,) to PO changes, to PO Close in SAP MM.
●Grew adoption rapidly while implementing global supplier strategies to consolidate total number of suppliers by 30%. Delivered an average savings of 20% or more on a $360M spend. This created greater efficiencies through the stability of Tier 1 suppliers and built value-based relationships with partners that supported our marketing teams worldwide. As a result, 30% of our supplier relationships produced an estimated increased value of $12M.
