Having been a Lead Field Technician/Engineer, I have supervised, scheduled and monitored Field Operations work load from inception to completion and performed training of entry level Technicians.

Have basic level provisioning knowledge of several types of Cienna, Cisco and Lucent switch devices (Such as ALU 7xxx series, and Cisco 9010 devices to name a few).

Have provisioned Cisco (DN7100) and Lucent (CBX500) ATM switches, Provisioned ALU, Cisco, and Juniper ERX1440 Ethernet links, Provisioned Management links.

Have Provisioned FiOS GPon and Bpon OLT devices, such as the Arris AX2200. Alcatel 7300 series OLT’s, and Tellabs DMAX OLT, via using the Provisioning software called Traid in order to do so.

Have extensive knowledge and have provisioned and turned up Adtran TA5000 shelves and cards as well as TA1148 and TA1248’s, Provisioned and turned up Alcatel 7300 shelves and ADSL cards. Working knowledge of HSI provisioning, including the provisioning of ATM and MPLS Inband management links.

Have Working Knowledge, Testing, Provisioning, Engineering, and turning up T1s and trunks in the Cedar Point, and Cisco BTS Soft Switches.

Audited, planned, and engineered migration of customer traffic from vendor’s equipment to the equivalent Tellabs product.

Created Method of Procedures outlining activity performed during migration of customer traffic.

Captured output from many types of transmission equipment, parsed the data to provide cut sheets required to complete traffic migrations.

Experience with various software programs such as, Technet, Remedy, XNG, Granite, MetaSolv, Triad, Baais, MS Word, MS Mail, MS Outlook/Express, and Microsoft Excel programs just to name a few.

Extensive knowledge of Metasolve and addition, some circuit design in general, however have not performed circuit design in an official capacity as the primary part of my jobs, but rather have assisted other engineers to design circuits in various circuit design software platforms.

Hands on experience with Tellabs Echo Cancellers, Tellabs 5500 and 532L DCS.

Hands on experience with Nortel OC-x Transport systems, both hardware and have performed cross connects and Turn ups of T3’s via NetMan, in same said Nortel Fiber Optic Systems, have also worked on Various Lucent Fiber Optic systems.

Successfully completed turn up of brand new TOC (Central Office) and successfully assisted in the completion of turn ups at two other sites.

Administered day-to-day operations as sole technician of same T.O.C., as well as remotely administered 2 other TOC’s. Physically raveled to other cities to assist when Lead Tech was away.

Performed hardwire and software cross connects (both in the office as well as via remote interface for software cross connects) as well as turn up, Test and Acceptance of DS0, T1, T3, and OC3, 12, OC48, 192, and WDM facilities, as per CLR (Circuit Layout Record) specifications, as well as assisted new Designers in designing CLR’s correctly.

Experience with a wide variety of Multiplexers both inside plant, and customer prem, from DS0 to Fiber Optic, including but not limited to: TxPort, Vinabox, Wescom and Telco System Channel banks, Telco Systems Edgelink 100 DS3 Mux, Cisco Routers and switches, Rockwell 3003 DS3 Multiplexers, Rockwell 1565 Fiber Optic systems, TTC Remote Test Units (React), Redbak, Ciena DWDM (long and short haul), Cascade ATM 500 CBX and Cascade 9000 switches. Worked for the Frontier Network Migrations team migrating traffic from one device to another in order to reduce congestion. This including working on Frontier’s Fios platform performing test bed applications with technicians in the field, on Tellabs OLTs, Alcatel/Nokia 7432 OLTs, and Motorola (Arris) AXS2200 OLTs equipment in preparation for migrating traffic from the E320s to the Juniper MX960s. This includes using the Triad software to set up the test bed services.
