My job as a Facility Assignor has made me a highly organized worker with a strong team
oriented mind set. I am hard working, reliable, punctual and willing to learn anything new. I
don't run from a challenge; I take it on. Having worked for several different companies with my
career due to being bought and sold a few times, I feel I am quite adaptable. I would thrive in a
team based or I can be individually motivated as well. Either way, I am hard working. Skills
Process development Worked closely with Outside Plant Engineering to ensure new technology
was correctly built into the database. Vendor relationships My job with Consolidated
Communications required me to work alongside Wholesale vendors. (Smaller phone companies
using our equipment to deliver service. Team building and leadership. As a member of a union
for 27 years I have learned a lot about being on a team member. I was also a member of the
Sunshine Committee. This committee did all the necessary work it took to recognize colleague’s
birthdays, work anniversary's and generally planned all the holiday parties and employee
appreciation events. Data entry My job included lots of data entry in terms of building in new
inventory, Accuracy was vital. Inventory and supply oversight In terms of the equipment we use
to supply a customer with High Speed Internet or Dial Tone, it was my job to see that whatever
technology that particular area was offering was indeed built into the data base accurately.
When we were not able to provide a specific technology, I would need to move customers
around to meet the demand, or in some cases deny the service all together. First Aid/CPR I was
at one time a licensed EMT for the town of Cumberland Maine for 2 years. 2006-2008 Inventory
management As I stated before, inventory in the form of technology, tangible and non-tangible
was a huge piece of my job. Keeping an accurate data base was key to efficiency both in the
office as well as outside with the Installers and the site engineers in the field. Customer service
Although I never spoke to an external customer in my job, my customers were internal. I worked
with field techs and CO techs as well as translations assignors. All of these people rely on me to
provide excellent customer service. That was and still is critical in the success of the company,
the competition in this industry is huge. I feel that good customer service is the number one
priority in success in any business that seeks to be successful. Communications In terms of
communications I did not play roll in the in-house telephony piece, but I did have to
communicate all day every day via phone, fax and computer. Problem resolution Most of my job
was problem resolution. Often when we didn't have the inventory to fulfill a customer's request,
I would have to relocate another customer to use the facilities for the new customer. (sounds
very confusing) CCTV Processed and assigned orders for this product. Team building Was a
member of a union as well as the office Sunshine Committee. Experience February 1994 to
October 2021 Consolidated Communications Portland, ME Facility Assignor As a Facility
Assignor my duties and included but were not limited to investigating and resolving facility
fallout in regard to a customer request for new service or a speed change on their internet. I
also worked closely with Central Office Technicians as well as Field Technicians to coordinate
cable pair and/or line equipment changes on installation orders or repair tickets. As an assignor
I was also responsible for analyzing complex reports and records from a variety of systems,
recognizing errors or incomplete information on service orders that fell out of the system as
RMA's. (Request For Manual Assistance) My job was to respond to these RMA's by analyzing
and correcting any data base discrepancies, so that the system could assign the proper facilities.
The goal of the Facility Assignor is to deliver timely customer service when original assignment
requires modification. These functions are performed via phone calls, fax and/or through a
computer-based transaction. Education and Training June 1986 Lewiston High School Lewiston,
