Load and unload roll stock from roll room to production floor. Slab rolls that are damaged and weigh up the waste according to which department damaged the roll in question. Remove core plugs from each roll lined up. Enter each roll into the scan gun so that the shipping and receiving team leader can run an inventory checklist at the end and beginning of each shift. Then a list is prepared and posted in production area meeting area letting the current shift team know which presses are running and who will be working on them, and also a list of what rolls are on the presses for that shift. All of the rolls should be accounted for based off another inventory checklist that is printed to inform the facility what rolls were received and where they are stored. So all roll stock coming In off rail cars and semi-trucks should be scanned in to the warehouse, then again when being placed in the stage area to be replugged and then finally again from the stage area to the production floor.
