I hold a master’s and specialist degree in Counselor Education from the University of Florida (1977), and after early roles in crisis intervention, outpatient therapy, and community mental health, I stepped into business leadership while maintaining a passion for emotional wellness and holistic care.

Throughout my career, I have cultivated the core competencies of an effective counselor: active listening, empathy, problem-solving, building trusting relationships, and the ability to inspire personal growth even in the most challenging circumstances. My work as a holistic cancer coach over the past 15 years allowed me to walk alongside individuals facing serious illness, offering support, encouragement, and clarity in their journeys. This work reignited my commitment to mental health, particularly as it intersects with trauma, chronic illness, and life transitions.

Now, as someone who has personally overcome major health challenges—including lymphoma (in remission), and sepsis, I bring not only clinical training and life experience but also deep compassion and credibility. I am eager to re-enter the counseling profession with humility, enthusiasm, and a desire to serve.
