Summary
Dan was responsible for resolving escalated service issues, coaching other engineers to resolutions, engineering and implementing complex projects, and for maintaining and overseeing the technology of his assigned accounts. He is also responsible for managing installations and new customer training, as well as helping clients determine what they require for their current environments.
Before joining the National Academies, Dan had 24 years of experience in the IT industry with a successful track record building and maintaining systems while serving client’s needs. Throughout his career, he has worked with the Global Command and Control System (GCCS), formerly known as the World Wide Military Command Control System (WWMCCS), providing managed IT services for Ericsson NetQual, HP and various government contracts. During his time in the Information Technology industry, he has held leadership positions at companies including, Hewlett Packard and CACI.
Dan is a veteran of the USMC having served during the Rwandan Refugee Crisis. He holds a Security Certification from CompTIA IT Security. Dan has completed some college coursework at American Intercontinental University.
