Desbuild/Trison. Yokohama, Japan June - July 2016

Welder Fabricator, FSI School

As a welder for Trison, I was charged with fabrication of steel frames with less than a 2mill tolerance to fit perfectly into preexisting doorways in a facility. The location of the job made this position unique as there were no tools, no replacements, the wrong tools, no communication. And a poor working environment. Definitely an experience.

Chicago Bridge & Iron. Fort Worth, Tx

Combo Welder, Exelon Power Mar- April 2016

Contract welding for several carbon steel tig welded piping flow gauges.

Chicago Bridge & Iron. Fort Worth, Tx

Welding Inspector, Exelon Power Oct 2015 Shutdown

Inspection for CB&I was a great experience, as sole quality control, I implemented a weld quality log and rod verification program to keep track of quality for nine welders. All repair welds had various hold points for PT and visual inspection, typically with chrome and piping circuits that undergo thermal expansion and high cycling, extra attention was paid due to stress and fatigue.

Aeon Pec. Gregory, Tx

Pipeline Welder, Field Services Division May 2014 to Sept 2015

Working for Aeon is an ongoing job, I have completed dozens of small contract jobs with them most are rerating or installing existing in-service coded vessels. Few jobs last longer than a week with exception of South Cross compressor station, I repaired an API pressure vessel. The vessel had numerous structural defects. The job entailed demo and new fabrication of a support system capable of withstanding the pressures and weight of the cracking process. I also repaired a 75 foot long 17 foot inch diameter propane tank. The tank showed excessive pitting and required all the areas to be reinforced with weld metal. This job took 2 weeks to fill and grind all the defective areas. I also installed several flanges, including a 24 inch flange for entry into the vessel.
