Nature of Work and responsibilities:

a. New Tool Development: Injection Mold tools & components as per the customer time line. Play a Key role in giving inputs for tool design. Responsible from the time plan preparation till part proving.

b. Tool Assembly: Study of tool drawings planning the processes accordingly and ensure the time line is met. Responsible for fitment by machining and assembly.

c. Tool Tryouts: Responsible for tool tryouts, component inspection and counter attacking then on Not ok dimensions by making necessary changes in the tool or process.

d. Trouble shooting: Root cause analysis of tool failures & process failures, tool trail observation and process observation and rectification of the problems by implementing countermeasures in respective areas.

e. Co ordination with various departments: Like Design, Production, Vendor development, Purchase dept. for smooth work flow.

Passing details to CNC section for machining of mold tools. f. Technical Assistance: Technical discussion with customers for tool and product validation & approval, Assistance to vendors during tool manufacturing and sampling.

g. Documentation: Study of customer standards and requirements and preparation of related documents as per standards. h. Supplier Assistance: Sourcing & selecting the appropriate vendors for the manufacturing process and responsible in development of supplier. Assisting supplier so as to solve the manufacturing related issues & ensure smooth work- flow.

Technical & Other Abilities:

1. Extensive experience in analyzing issues and taking appropriate action to resolve the same. Supervising works of facility and ensuring the job is done with in the stipulated time.
