Cherry Valley Hotel (before I moved down to Florida)
Worked there for 6 months.
Daily duties on a sheet to be completed by, opened drawers and set up for the day
Cleaned the bar area and tables, a lot with restocking our ice holder and setting up the outside tables along with cleaning them as well too.
Restocked any garnishes, alcohol or more that needed to be.
Washed any dirty dishes through the dishwasher that needed it and also folded napkins and got silverware ready.
Served any customers that wanted food or alcohol and also anytime a customer wanted food I would put the order in and grab it for them.
I served during an event as well too with only one other person helping that had over 40-50 people for a baseball game for high schoolers.
Would have to make the alcohol that consisted of many different drinks but they also had a book to go by if any of us forget any of the drinks.
Would write on a piece of paper our online tips for the evening before closing our drawers and tabs down for the night
Would have to clean the tables, dishes would be taken back, cups would be washed, floors mopped and swept and also if any customer had a picnic outdoors we would clean that up as well too (we also set it up at beginning of each shift)
Everything alcohol, garnish and more wise too had to be locked up for the evenings and then keeps and cash drops etc would be taken our front as well too after a paper was signed.
I also previously worked as a manager at multiple places, an stna before at altercare nursing home
I’m going to college momentarily, and need a source of income desperately.
